End of Year Christmas BBQ & Awards Presentation
Thank you to everyone who attended our Club’s End of Year Christmas BBQ & Awards Presentation held on Saturday, 15 December 2018.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in our Club throughout 2018. Members, coahces, volunteers and sponsors alike are all an integral part of our Club! It takes many wonderful volunteers to help keep our Club running smoothly and I thank you all. I would especially like to thank the members of the Committee, who constantly work behind the scenes.
On behalf of the Club, thank you to our fantastic coaches, Ramon, Jesse, Andrew, Anthony and Shania for their dedication and hard work training our squads and helping them achieve their goals.
This year the Club introduced the fortnightly Postie Run event. We had our biggest group of paddlers attend on Saturday; it was wonderful to see so many members on the water and the great race to the finish line.
The Postie Run was followed by a breakfast barbeque for members and their families – thank you to everyone who attended and the organisers who made the morning a success.
The morning finished with presentations of the Postie Run and Coaches’ Awards. Congratulations to all the recipients.
